DHC

Air heater with a circular duct connection

Description

The DHC is a heating coil within a compact aluzinc steel casing with circular spigot connections, which is mounted directly in air duct systems. DHC uses hot water as the energy carrier and is used for heating the ventilation air in air-conditioning systems. If required, the DHC can also be used for DCV or VAV application, to provide supplement heating in individual rooms or zones. For controlling the room or supply air temperature, the DHC duct heater is equipped with a control valve, valve actuator, and anti-freeze temperature sensors. For applications with Plx air handling units, the heating is controlled by CA-Plex automatic control with a 0–10V valve actuator signal, with option of chiller/ pump start signal output.

Materials

The casing is made of aluminum-zinc, with rubber sealing on the air connections. The heat exchanger consists of copper and aluminium.
