Airvent’s forward-looking leadership team is comprised of experienced executives with diverse technical backgrounds that ensure innovation, efficiency and customer-focus across the board, as well as strong commitment to environmental responsibility and high ethical standards. Together, with more than 330 employees in Hungary, we are passionate about creating technically advanced and sustainable ventilation solutions, that provide healthy, energy efficient indoor environments for people and buildings.

Michael Pataki

founder, chairman and ceo

After finishing his studies at a technical college in Sweden, he started working as a HVAC consultant engineer, which led to meeting Mr Lars Lundeberg, founder of Klimatbyrån AB. Lars and Michael joined forces in 1983 and later, in 1990,  founded Airvent in Hungary together. In addition to all achievements in the ventilation sector he has always been very passionate about horses, which led him to found Pataki Ménes, contributing to the cultural heritage of Hungary. He is a proud father of four, all of whom work in the organisation.

Ernst Michael Pataki

Michael started his career at Klimatbyrån AB in Sweden in 2010 and later went on to lead the export and then domestic sales department at Airvent. In addition, he also managed and oversaw the marketing efforts, as well as product- and production developments with a special focus on Lean. He has held his current position of deputy CEO since January 2020. He is married and is a father of two.

Having majored in manufacturing-technology and IT Gábor worked at Klimatbyrån AB between 1988 and 1991 after his graduation. He co-founded Airvent in 1990 and has held his position of deputy CEO since 2014.

András Mikó

András Mikó

managing director

András has gained a lot of experience in the HVAC industry on multiple fields such as production, sales and product-development. With his knowledge, he has been contributing to Airvent's success since January 2021. He is a proud father of two girls and is an avid sailor.

Péter Süli

After earning his diploma in economics Peter worked 10 years in the financial sector, 7 years of which he worked at multinational companies. He has been leading the finance and HR groups at Airvent since 2014. Apart from spending time with his family he prefers hiking in nature.

Szabolcs Illés

Szabolcs Illés

chief purchasing and logistics officer

Szabolcs has more than 15 years of experience in leading and improving procurement and logistics processes that he has gained from working in international environments. He joined Airvent in 2017. He is married and is a proud father of a boy.

László Pintér

László Pintér

technical director

Having graduated from Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2009, he directly started applying his knowledge at Airvent and he has been gaining new skills on the field of automation and ventilation. In January 2021 László was appointed technical director at Airvent, a role that also includes heading the newly established Competence Center, being responsible for all product developments at Airvent. He is a father of two girls and likes spending his free time close to nature.

Csaba Kelemen

Csaba Kelemen

Graduating as an IT teacher, and going on to have degrees as a mechanical-, timber- and quality engineer, Csaba has worked in various settings; 10 years at a multinational company, 4 years as a lean moderator. He has been leading Airvent’s production since 2018. He is a proud father of two boys, enjoys all kinds of sports, and is an avid fisherman.
