Michael Pataki

founder, chairman

After finishing his studies at a technical college in Sweden, he started working as a HVAC consultant engineer, which led to meeting Mr Lars Lundeberg, founder of Klimatbyrån AB. Lars and Michael joined forces in 1983 and later, in 1990,  founded Airvent in Hungary together. In addition to all achievements in the ventilation sector he has always been very passionate about horses, which led him to found Pataki Ménes, contributing to the cultural heritage of Hungary. He is a proud father of four, all of whom work in the organisation.

Michael Pataki

Michael began his career at Klimatbyrån AB in Sweden in 2010. He later advanced to lead the export and domestic sales departments at Airvent. Additionally, he managed and oversaw all marketing efforts, as well as product and production developments, with a special focus on the introduction of Lean. Since January 2024, he has held the position of CEO, playing an important role in the company’s future development. Michael is married and has two children.

Gábor Zakupszky

Having majored in manufacturing-technology and IT Gábor worked at Klimatbyrån AB between 1988 and 1991 after his graduation. He co-founded Airvent in 1990 and has held his position of deputy CEO since 2014.

András Mikó

András has gained a lot of experience in the HVAC industry on multiple fields such as production, sales and product-development. With his knowledge, he has been contributing to Airvent's success since January 2021. He is a proud father of two girls and is an avid sailor.

Tamás Karcza

Tamas is a highly accomplished leader with over 20 years of management experience. With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Economics, Tamas has excelled in financial domains such as banking, investment, and financing. He has also served in large corporate, educational, and government institutions. Tamas is a skilled communication trainer and is committed to fostering continuous organizational growth. He is a proud father of three and brings the same level of dedication and commitment to his personal life as he does to his professional endeavors.

Szabolcs Illés

chief purchasing and logistics officer

Szabolcs has more than 15 years of experience in leading and improving procurement and logistics processes that he has gained from working in international environments. He joined Airvent in 2017. He is married and is a proud father of a boy.

László Pintér

chief technology officer

Having graduated from Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2009, he directly started applying his knowledge at Airvent and he has been gaining new skills on the field of automation and ventilation. In January 2021 László was appointed CTO at Airvent, a role that also includes heading the newly established Competence Center, being responsible for all product developments at Airvent. He is a father of two girls and likes spending his free time close to nature.

Csaba Kelemen

chief production officer​

Graduating as an IT teacher, and going on to have degrees as a mechanical-, timber- and quality engineer, Csaba has worked in various settings; 10 years at a multinational company, 4 years as a lean moderator. He has been leading Airvent’s production since 2018. He is a proud father of two boys, enjoys all kinds of sports, and is an avid fisherman.
