Generation change at Airvent

Airvent is implementing a strategic generation change in its leadership.

Michael Pataki, has been appointed CEO, assuming the new role starting January 1, 2024. Michael is succeeding the retiring CEO, Michael Pataki Sr, who has been an integral part of the company for over 33 years. "The transition is driven by the recognition that daily management requires someone capable of meeting evolving global changes and challenges. With confidence and pride, I pass on the leadership reponsibiliies to my son, acknowledging his decade-long achievements and strategic contributions". However, this transition does not signify the founder distancing himself from the company; "As the Chairman of the Board of Directors, I will continue to monitor Airvent's strategic directions."

This generational change isn't the sole transformation within the company. András Mikó, who assumed the position of Managing Director in 2021, retains his role as Chief Operating Officer starting January of this year. Tamás Karcza has been elevated to the position of CFO, overseeing all finance and HR related operations. Both colleagues, along with other directors, hold pivotal roles in shaping and planning the company's future.
